Hi, I'm Kelsey ...
...and I'm the owner and designer here at CreuCreative. I've loved all things marketing and branding since I was around 14 years old when I was asked to design a magazine in my English Lit class at comprehensive school. I knew from that moment that this was the path I wanted to take in my future career - and here we are!
A Day In The Life...
I'd probably start by checking my emails before any socials (is this a sign of getting old!?) and then sit down with a nice cup of coffee. I pretty much design all day, everyday - unless I have some client meetings or handmade deliveries to do. My studio is located at my home & there will always be music playing in the background (I can't work without it!) Everything from Foo Fighters to Fleetwood Mac and I draw inspiration from it all.
When I'm not working I like to spend my days off meeting up with friends and visiting nice restaurants for food and drinks (yes, that is a glass of prosecco in my hand on the photograph, because who doesn't love a little bit of fizz). I love going to the salon to get my hair done - I always said if I wasn't a graphic designer, I'd 100% want to own my own hairdressers/beauty rooms! Any money I have (after the bills are paid) is spent saving for holidays and going to as many gigs as I can! Although refreshing ticketmaster at 9am on release day has definitely given me a few grey hairs! I also run an events company called Little Birdie Events (@littlebirdie_events) with my best friend, Kayleigh, and we host pop-up makers markets, networking events & workshops.
I've loved being a freelance designer for the past 2 years and hope to meet new clients and work with new brands and businesses all the time! If you're interested in a design slot please drop me a message either on here or DM me via my Instagram page (@creucreative) and I will get back to you as quickly as I can :)
